“ As a conservationist I am committed to renewable energy, but a giant wind
power station in this remarkable Wild Land is
wholly unacceptable. If you believe, as I do, that this development must not go
ahead please register your objection.”

Roy Dennis, MBE, international wildlife consultant, Nethy Bridge

A VisitScotland survey showed 25 per cent of visitors would avoid countryside where there are wind farms; 50 per cent said wind farms spoil the look
of the countryside. Views of Scotland suggest Highland
wind farms could lose the region £67.37 million and
1,517 jobs.
