Sundae Funday: Catching Our Breath After E3
Sundae Fund– *dies*
I’m not going to lie; I’m kind of glad E3 is over. It was an exhausting week for everyone involved, and it’s a good thing that the expo only takes place once a year. That said, I liked this year’s E3 very much.
I feel like every E3 has a “theme” or a trend, and this year’s theme was that of convenience, between the Wii U and some of the save-transfer functionality between the PSVita and PlayStation 3. I very much like the idea of games being more flexible with regard to how and where you play them.
Anyhow, on to this week’s three stories that you missed! I think different kinds of readers would like to know about each of these, so in case you missed them during the E3 rush, here they are:
Super Pokémon Rumble Will Rumble On Nintendo 3DS In July
The very first actual Pokémon to the show, which Spencer got to try out .
Nintendo Excavate Super Fossil Fighters To Fatten The Nintendo DS Line-up
Despite the fact that the 3DS is out, it looks like the regular DS still has a lot of life left in it, considering some of the games that were announced — and some additional ones which were weren’t — at E3. One of these is Fossil Fighters Hope you guys can pick up and find out more about the Playstation Store region lock though. I think that’s enough E3 coverage and would be great to know if the region lock is going to be permanent… I don’t care if we’re locked out until the end of the free contents/welcome back package period, but if it is permanent it’s going to affect imports… I am hoping video games would head towards a platform agnostic approach like what Sony and Nintendo are suggesting at this E3, especially if the game has many “ports.” For third party games, if I buy the PC version, it should include the PS3 and XBOX360 version. And for a small fee (10-15 dollars?), I can “upgrade” and get the portable version of the game on DS/3DS/PSP/PSV. This is all possible with digital distribution. Let the players decide how to play and enjoy the game. Well, easy. It used to always say that the service is under maintenance, and now it says that this service is not available for your country/region. From what I know, its not just that we cannot connect to the Japanese store, but people from Europe were not able to connect to the US store… which is up.
Download Pokemon Red Game - News
No, not Pokédex 3D, but Super Mario Land, a game that gives Tetris and Pokémon Red and Blue a run for their money in being the most popular Game Boy game. It's also one of Mario's most profitable outings, selling more copies than Super Mario Bros.
I think different kinds of readers would like to know about each of these, so in case you missed them during the E3 rush, here they are: The very first actual Pokémon game on the Nintendo 3DS will be a follow-up to Pokémon Rumble on WiiWare.

The Pokemon franchise took a step into brawler territory back in November 2009, when the WiiWare download Pokemon Rumble launched and let players battle the popular pocket monsters in an all-new way. Reaction to the title was a

The use of the touch-screen speaks for itself, and with downloadable content and online matches, a new Pokémon Trading Card Game could easily captivate a whole new audience whilst reigning in the old crowd. The 3D effect would be more a cosmetic flashy
And, God forbid, it would mean a re-release of the original Pokemon Red and Blue would have no monster trading or two-player battling. None of that's confirmed, of course, and Nintendo must certainly know what an outcry it would have on its hands if
Pokemon Red/Blue - Mew Glitch Video
Well, I was planning to do this on Pokemon Yellow, but since I wanted to test out the MissingNo and 'M glitch, I progressed faster in Red, so I just used Red to record it. Yes, I did use cheats for rare candies and master balls for glitch testing and my laziness to level my Pokemon. ^.^;; Anyways, here's how to get Mew (legally): Prerequisites: A) Don't battle the kid with the level 17 Slowpoke after Nugget Bridge. B) Don't battle the Gambler facing towards the door to the Underground Passage. 1) Go to the Underground Passage (the one between Saffron and Lavender), make sure you save in front of the door to the passage. Go down and press start IMMEDIATELY or else it won't work. If it fails, just hope you saved there and start over. Then access your Pokemon from the menu and fly to Cerulean. 2) When you're in Cerulean, you should notice the start button is disabled. To fix this little glitch, go to the trainer with the level 17 Slowpoke, make sure he walks up to you or it won't work. Battle him and win. Your start button should be working now. 3) After beating the Youngster with the Slowpoke, fly to Lavender Town and head west (left) to the route that Gambler was on. 4) You should notice the menu appears from nowhere, I suggest you save before this because once you press B, Mew appears. It's a fairly easy battle, the Mew is level 7 and only knows pound. Attempt to catch it and you obtained a Mew! Congratulations, you just caught a Mew LEGALLY! XD NOTE: I know I spelled ... The Small World Of Pokemon Zukan FiguresZukan figures are some of the nicest figures you can ever buy. Zukan figures are sold in Gashapon machines in Japan. They are scaled to 1/40th size of the Pokemon they are based off of (though in some cases, 1/50th size because the figure would be too large to fit into the capsule). Every Pokemon has a zukan, minus Onix, Steelix, and about 95% of 5th generation so far....
